After a long day of walking around all the different temples of Bangkok, my wife and I decided to head to the famous Sky bar for a cocktail before heading back to our hotel.
We head to the hotel which was a bit of a challenge to find and when we heading to the reception we had quite a confusing conversation around it been open and allowed to server drinks, nevertheless we was shown to the lift and headed up.
We was escorted to the sky which had some amazing views and met with a comprehensive list of cocktails.
The average price was around 700baht to 850baht but at least you get free peanuts and black olives. We had 2 drinks each, had a gin based and duck fat smokey cocktail. While my wife had a cosmopolitan and a take on a Bloody Mary. All was good but they was not the best cocktails in the world, but the view, seeing the sunset and staff make the evening.
