30 days Plant-Based – Week 1

So ….. the first week in the bag.

Weight wise it has been very interesting, Monday I weighed in at 102.2Kg and 2 days later I had dropped over 3 kg !! with very little training.

Although I do find this interesting, I do not account the change in diet to this miracle weight loss but it is very interesting none the less and I am looking forward to seeing what the next week brings.

I have done ok, over the last week with regards to calorie consumption, keeping around 1600. Energy has been still pretty low, I was hoping Carbs would help and I also feel like the cold/illness is still around a little.

Takeaways from this week –

  • I have only missed eating meat this week once and that was on Thursday after eating very similar meals for 4 days.
  • Keeping to 1600 has been pretty easy as Veggies have a lot fewer calories than meat, so it is easy to eat more on Plant-based.
  • Vegan options are very limited when buying food, Although there are lots of  Vegetarian options.
  • I haven’t woken up feeling very hungry.
